Travel Channel’s 1,000 Places To See Before You Die
January 10, 2007 – 2:39 pmThe Travel Channel is launching a new show called “1,000 Places To See Before You Die” which has a very innovative hook. The show is based on Patricia Schultz’s best-selling travel book of the same name. What’s interesting is that a couple was chosen to travel all around the world using her book. What happened to them is the show.

Selected from over 900 couples, Albin and Melanie Ulle, newlyweds from Colorado, were chosen to plan a fourteen-week, whirlwind journey to more than thirteen countries worldwide. Making the trip at a point in their lives when they can dedicate ample time and focus on this life-changing experience, they agreed to leave their jobs and day-to-day life to travel
the world experiencing its vast beauty and diverse cultures.
The great part of this show for viewers will be to see where they actually go and to decide if you’d like to visit the same places. The whole thing sounds like great fun, and it sounds like this couple had the adventure of a lifetime.
The show is scheduled to debut in March of 2007. For more information, visit Discover.
