Spirit Air $9 Fare Club
January 9, 2008 – 10:24 amI’ve known about the Spirit Air $9 Fare Club for quite some time, but my interest for the program has been increasing lately. I mean, really, who can resist cheap flights to completely desirable places? Of course, most of the flights aren’t actually $9, but most of the deals do represent real savings below normal flights.
$9 fares must be booked on spiritair.com between 3:00 PM ET on January 8, 2008 and 11:59 PM ET on January 9, 2008 for travel on the dates as specified by individual market and by market direction and require membership in the Spirit Airlines $9 Fare Club**. All other sale fares must be booked on spiritair.com between 3:00 PM ET on January 8, 2008 and 11:59 PM ET on January 11, 2008 for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between January 15, 2008 and May 21, 2008. The lowest fares are available for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, with fares slightly higher for travel on Mondays and Thursdays. The terms don’t really look too bad. You have to pay $29.99 to join the club for a year, and you have to travel on certain dates in order to get the specials.
Detroit is the closest airport to me where Spirit Air flies from, so it would be a simple matter of driving there, parking the car, and taking one of the greatly reduced trips.

To me, those Caribbean locations sure do look appealing for the prices listed.
I’m checking out as much as I can about this deal before signing up. Does anyone out there in Internet land have any feedback about the Spirit Air $9 Fare Club? I’d love to hear it.
