Raleigh Ringers To Perform For The Holidays In Pittsburg

Then don’t miss your chance to see the Internationally Acclaimed Handbell Ensemble, the Raleigh Ringers as they “ring in” the upcoming holidays on December 1, 2007 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
The ensemble of 17 ringers perform on one of the most extensive collections of bells and bell-like instruments owned by any other handbell ensemble in the world, numbering over 350. In just 17 years, The Raleigh Ringers has made a significant impact on the world’s handbell music repertoire by commissioning more than 70 compositions and arrangements for
handbells. Under the direction of David M. Harris, The Raleigh Ringers has released four CDs and a DVD of a holiday concert titled “One Winter Evening in Meymandi.” This same concert was also broadcast on more than 250 public television stations in 44 states.
