JetBlue Continues To Have Operational Problems
February 27, 2007 – 5:53 pmFebruary hasn’t been a very forgiving month for discount air carrier JetBlue.
The airline upset a number of fliers after a winter storm hit New York on Valentine’s Day, cancelling hundreds of flights and leaving some passengers stuck in planes on the tarmac for as long as 10 1/2 hours.
Today a Jetblue flight to New York was diverted in Philadelphia, PA after the crew found a problem with an indicator light. Jetblue gave customers the option to disembark and take an airline bus to their final destination of New York. 15 flyers of 54 decided to take this option.
“Mechanical diversions are a part of the airline industry, and in this case it appears that our crew members worked very closely with the airport to make sure that our customers were looked after in a very proper and timely manner,” Burke said.
Were you affected by any of Jet Blues flight cancellations or flight delays? We’d love to hear your experiences..
