maiden arrival in San Francisco.WHEN: Sunday, February 4. Boarding at 2:30 p.m. and cruising 3:00 p.m. -

San Francisco Bay on February 4, 2007. Hornblower Cruises & Events is
hosting a one-time event to welcome her and give passengers an up close
view of the majestic ship.The Queen Mary 2 (QM2) is scheduled to cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge
between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. and will cruise in the bay before docking for
the night at Pier 27. Since only cruise passengers are allowed aboard QM2,
this is a rare opportunity to see some details of the fine ship.
Sounds like quite the event if you happen to be in town. The Queen Mary line of cruise ships is fabled. The ship cost an estimated $800 million to build.
