Celebrity Cruises has won a prestigious award. For them, it’s the equivalent of winning a Grammy. Conde Nast travellers a bunch that really know their cruise ships, so winning “The Best Cruise Ships in the World” award for the fifth year in a row, has the folks at Celebrity Cruises really crowing.

In the large-ship category, Celebrity’s entire Millennium-class fleet (comprised of the Constellation, Summit, Infinity and Millennium) ended up ranking first through fourth, respectively, marking the second year in a row the line has held every spot from one through four.

“Conde Nast Traveler’s annual readers’ survey is one of the most meaningful polls in the business, and comes at a time when Celebrity is embarking on a particularly exciting period of growth and momentum,” said Celebrity’s President Dan Hanrahan. “We’re thrilled with this recognition, and committed to continuing to offer our guests an experience that inspires
them to honor our brand in this way.”

If you plan on taking a cruise, you might want to consider a Celebrity Cruise. So far I haven’t heard any reports of experiences, but the attention they pay to the construction of the ships leads me to believe they care about the passenger experience.
