Harrah’s Opens Hotel In New Orlean’s
September 24, 2006 – 6:37 amHarrah’s just opened their hotel and casino in New Orlean’s.

“Visitors are coming back to New Orleans, and Harrah’s is committed to welcoming them,” said Anthony Sanfilippo, president of Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc.’s Central Division. “Our new hotel is designed to meet Harrah’s high standard for guest accommodations, and we’re very proud to bring this brand of luxury to a world-class destination like New Orleans. With this new hotel, we will be able to bring even more loyal Harrah’s customers to New Orleans than ever before.”
The hotel is 26 stories tall and features 450 guest rooms and suites. It features art form many local artists and a new jazz club for live entertainment. You’ll find a promenade within steps of the resort to while away some time if you feel like stepping out of the casino.
Along this promenade visitor’s will find many restaurants, including Riche by celebrity chef Todd English. This restuarant will feature French cooking traditions in a brasserie atmosphere.
It’s good to see that New Orleans is rebuilding and that tourism is starting to make a comeback in the region.
