Recently we had the chance to talk with a representative of Coral By Hilton about their property located in the Dominican Republic. This is the second in our series of Dream Destinations
Q. Can you give me a little history of the Coral by Hilton Property?
A:Coral Hotels & Resorts, a well-established all inclusive chain in the Dominican Republic, was looking for a brand name to partner with to attract American Travelers and possibly to take the Coral vacation experience to other destinations. The result was a new brand - Coral by Hilton, all-inclusive, Hilton-style.
Q. Describe the perfect candidate for a vacation at the Coral By Hilton?
A: The Dominican Republic offers many vacation options and Coral by Hilton Resorts are in all the best resort areas. For this reason, we appeal to many types of travelers with many vacation interests.
Hamaca in Boca Chica, with it proximity to the capital city caters to business travelers and small to medium groups - from family reunions to sales incentives; Costa Caribe in Juan Dolio is great for families with its compact size; Canoa in La Romana is adjacent to the National Park and the island of Saona is just a few minutes by boat. Snorkeling, diving and eco tourism is popular in this region. Marien in Puerto Plata is perfect for the sophisticated adventurer. The north coast is famed for tobacco and amber and there are many things to see and do in the region.
Q: What differentiates Coral by Hilton from other resorts in the area?

Q: What types of activities do you have for families and children?
A: Our entertainment program is so complete that it includes day and night activities especially designed for children. At the Coral Kidz Paradise Club during the day, kids can draw, play video games, and watch movies or just splash away in the kids’ pool next to the playground. At night, kids perform themed shows produced by the animation team for family and guests. Additionally, babysitting can be arranged through the Coral Concierge including cribs. Children’s menus are offered in all specialties restaurants. In room extras: roll away beds available, Family Friendly TV channel, connecting and adjoining rooms are numerous.
Q: Do you have any tips for first time travelers to the Dominican Republic?
