If you’re looking for a “quickie” marriage after midnight in Sin City, you’re going to have to cool down and wait for the morning.

Las Vegas County officials recently announced that they will no longer be offering 24 hour marriage license services on Friday, Saturdays and holidays. Beginning next Wednesday marriage license services will be available from 8 AM to midnight, 7 days a week.

This move is expected to save around $200,000.00 a year on payroll and associated expenses.

Visitors will still be able to get married after midnight at any of the local wedding chapels, but the couple will have to plan ahead and get their marriage license before the bureau closes at midnight.
