United Airlines Raising Fares

If so, plan on spending a few extra dollars. United Airlines recently announced that they will be raising airfares in an effort to help cover raising jet fuel costs.
This fare increase will add from $5.00-$10.00 to your boarding ticket. Other major airlines are expected to follow suit in the coming weeks.
