Soon passengers at O’Hare and Midway Airports in Chicago will have a much easier time leaving.

Starting Monday free parking will be available for passenger pick up. Passengers will be able to use their cell phones to contact their ride and meet them in a designated area, making the process of finally getting to your destination a heck of a lot easier.

The Windy City

Up until this time parking was prohibited making passenger pick ups inconvenient and frustrating. Other airports are also giving some thought to offering a free passenger pick up zone.

I think this is a good idea, and will make a landing in Chicago a lot easier. I’m sure this will streamline traffic in and out of the airport. Good move, Chicago!
