Planning A Visit to Niagara Falls

It’s hard to believe that in all my years on Earth that I’ve never been to Niagara Falls.
Hopefully that’ll soon change.
Now that summer is here, it seems like the perfect time to consider the 3 hour drive to Niagara Falls to see this awesome display of nature. I’d really like to take a ride on the Maid of the Mist, a ferry that takes visitors right into the falls themselves for a vantage point unlike any other. My mom said there is another tour that allows you to walk behind the falls that I wouldn’t mind checking out.
I heard that the Canadian side offered better views, so I’m thinking that Canada will be our destination of choice for a short visit. When we last visited Toronto, we stayed at The Courtyard Marriott in Mississauga and were pleasantly surprised with the room. I’m sure that there has to be one close to The Falls. I’ll have to check around online and see what’s available to get the best deal. We booked this room through Priceline and paid a mere $50.00 a night, perhaps we can score again?
