Freedom of the Seas. The World’s Largest Cruise Ship
May 10, 2006 – 2:47 pmIt was a successful run for the maiden voyage of the “Freedom of the Seas”. the newest ship to join Royal Caribbean’s growing fleet of cruise ships.
This marvelous ship is home to many things you won’t find on any other ship, and is a great destination for families. The ship is a destination in and of itself. With large and opulent guest rooms, including suites it seems like you’d barely even notice the fact that you’re on a ship.
It touts the largest rockclimbing wall on a cruise ship, has a waterpark on board including the Flowrider, a machine that makes simulated “waves” that guests can surf on. You’ll find a casino, 10 restuarants, a dancehall and a number of other recreational activities for your time at sea.
It stops in a number of different Caribbean ports, including the Cayman Islands and Mexico.
This is one impressive ship! It made all of the cruise ships we’ve seen in person look like dwarfs. We’d consider taking this cruise for sure.
