One thing that people in Ohio know is that winter in long and cold. Not to mention snowy, windy,
and filled with Canadian Air.

That must be one of the reasons that developers have opened a number of Indoor Waterpark, located mainly in Northwestern Ohio. For people to enjoy a tropical good time, even if there is 3 feet of snow on the ground.

Sandusky, Ohio is the home to 3 distinct indoor waterparks. They are all themed a little differently, but provide a great getaway from the drudgery of winter.

Sandusky is also home to Cedar Point, the Amazement Park. This amusement park has millions of people walk through their turnstyles every summer, and is where you can find “Castaway Bay”, which is Cedar Points indoor waterpark. It is open year round and also offers dining, shopping and a spa. An overnight stay is required to use this waterpark.

The other waterparks in Sandusky are the “Kalahari” which has an African Safari theme and the
“Great Wolf Lodge” which has a hunting lodge theme.

All of them are a great way to get out of the cold and leave your worries behind.
A day or two at an indoor waterpark is fun and leaves you feeling refreshed with great family memories.
