The Guru Fine Indian Restaurant in Niagara Falls
August 11, 2006 – 9:44 amShortly after we arrived in Niagara Falls, we decided to grab a bit to eat.
There are no shortages of places that you can choose to eat at, including your favorite food joints like McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s and Canada’s own Tim Horton’s.
We decided to pass on these options and give the the Guru Indian Restaurant located at 5705 Victoria Avenue, a try. We weren’t let down.

They have an extensive menu that offers pakoras, samosa, tandoori chicken, curry, paneer, rice dishes, naan and Indo chinese. We decided to order the vegetarian hakka noodles (an Indo Chinese menu item.) and garlic naan.
Like most restuarants, the serving size was huge. One plate was more than enough to feed the 2 of us. It was very tasty and moderately spicy. Service was prompt and we got a chance to sit and people watch from our table by the window.
Our tab, including tip came to about 31.00 Canadian and was a nice diversion from another run of the mill fast food that’s readily available through out the Falls area.
I would recommend that you try it if “just another burger” won’t do..
