This was the view we had from our room on the 10th floor at the Sunset Beach Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
In the bottom left hand corner you can see a bit of the tennis courts and the building next to it is part of the waterpark (that wasn’t open at the time of our stay.)
In the backdrop you can see the cruise ships that docked in the area for an afternoon or evening in Montego Bay and the “Hip Strip”
There were 2 pools and a hot tub as well as plenty of beachfront. Swimmers had to be careful because there were some jellyfish and sea urchins in the ocean, but I don’t believe anyone got seriously injured.
Guests can book local tours near the front desk if they are so inclined. You’ll be able to choose from Tours like River Tubing, Ocho Rios or the ever popular hip strip, complete with a Margaritaville that has a giant slide.
Jamaica is one of my favorite islands so far. It’s laid back and has beautiful mountains and lovely waters. If you’ve never been there, you must put it on your list of places to see.
