The beauty of the Seventh Wonder of the World is something that should only be seen firsthand. The Niagara Falls divides into two parts which is the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls. The Horseshoe Falls, which is found on the Canadian side, drops over 170 ft while the American Falls varies from 70-100 feet due to the presence of large boulders at the base. The Horseshoe Falls width is an outstanding 2,600 ft. The American Falls is much smaller, coming in at only a bit over 1000 feet wide.
When visiting the Niagara Falls for the first time you may be overwhelmed by the amount of things to do and you also may not find what you were expecting. Ranging from the majestic Falls themselves to the numerous attractions, hotels, casinos and water parks this is a great place to visit for business, family vacations, or a romantic getaway for two.
