Niagara Falls Motels
July 6, 2009 – 5:00 amInformation On Niagara Falls Motels
Motels are plentiful in Niagara Falls, and the one you choose will depend on the purpose of your trip: business or pleasure, and your budget. Several larger motel chains have establishments that cater to the business travelers while others cater to the needs of couples, groups or families.
Several of the chains that you will find located here include the Holiday Inn, Days Inn, Comfort Inn, Ramada, Marriott, Sheraton, and Howard Johnson, Thriftlodge, Double Tree, and Crown Plaza, Other hotels that are known for their comfort are the Brock Plaza, and the very luxurious Pillar and Post Inn, both of which do not belong to a hotel chain. All of these may be expensive so if you are on a budget there are several other motels that are not as costly but equally nice.
The features and amenities will vary from one motel to another ranging from free internet, airport shuttles, business centers, private baths, whirlpools, swimming pools, gyms, and no breakfast to a full course breakfast. If you have specific preferences make sure to ask the hotel staff about them when reserving your room.
The pricing of motels will also depend on the season. Aside from holidays summer seems to be the most expensive time of year to visit Niagara Falls. Excluding Christmas or New Years the best time of year to visit cost wise would be winter. Booking your trip on weekdays may also save you quite a bit as motels here seem to be more expensive during the weekends.
If you are going to be staying in Niagara Falls for an extended period of time it’s usually best if you book your motel early so you can get better rates. There are several hotels that give you the feel of home including a kitchen area with all cooking utensils and kitchen appliances.
For those who are traveling for business a motel with concierge, valet parking, and internet may be essential accommodations to have. You may also opt to stay in one of the motels closer to the Falls which are very near to convention facilities and casinos. There aren’t many hotels located near the airport so if that’s a requirement you will want to make sure where you are staying has airport shuttle.
Another thought would be for those who are looking for a place that holds excitement and nightlife. If you are one of those individuals who is visiting Niagara Falls for fun then consider one of the many casino motels available. There is a large selection to choose from depending on your age. For the Canada side you only need to be 19 to legally gamble while on the New York side you must be 21. You don’t need to be a gambler though to enjoy their elegant decor and furnishings, entertainment, or shopping available inside the motel.
Regardless of where you decide to stay you can be sure your vacation or business trip will be like no other. The beauty and serenity of the Niagara Falls will make your stay well worth the visit.
