Majesty Of The Seas Undergoing A 36 Million Dollar Facelift
January 31, 2007 – 5:32 pmThe Majesty of The Seas was one of the first largest cruise ships and was considered state-of-the-art Sovereign-class ships when she was built in 1992.

Now she’s been pulled into the shipyard to recieve a 36 million dollar refurbishment that replaces everything on board in a mere 28 days. Keep in mind that it takes nearly 2 and a half years to build one of these grand ships. All staff is living on the ship while the
1,000 contractors, along with the ships 900 plus crew members will work to replace carpeting, bedding, update light fixtures, replace old furniture with new and pretty much build a new cruise ship on the inside of the old one.
The Majesty will be looking more majestic than ever with a shiny new interior when she sets off from Miami for a Bahamian Cruise on February 12, 2007.
