British Virgin Islands - What’s New For 2007?

Biras Creek Resort
Newly acquired by Victor International and multi-million dollar renovations, all accommodations are non-smoking rooms including 300 thread count cotton linens and Sealy Plush pillow-top mattresses. Luxurious amenities also include Sony LCD TV’s and Bose iPod Sound Decks in the Grand Premier suites, fitness center and private dining rooms

Mainsail Resort, Marina & Spa
Scheduled to open in late 2007 on Scrub Island, the luxury resort is the first development in the BVI in more than 15 years and will be fully equipped with ocean view suites, villas and residences, world class spa, marina, restaurants, retail shops, amphitheatre, nature trails, and astronomy observatory

Mango Bay and Paradise Beach Resort
New owners Paola Moretti-Flax and Dwight Flax renovated the entire resort with air-conditioned bedrooms, in-room telephones, satellite TV and free internet connection. Three additional four bedroom villas and private pools forecaste to open February 2008

Katitche Point Greathouse
New member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the five-bedroom rental villa on Virgin Gorda offers services of a hotel, including catering by private chef and new private pathway leading to the shoreline of Pond Bay

Guana Island
New lunch and dinner menus showcase pistachio-crusted goat cheese over mesclun, West Indian chicken roti with mango chutney and poached pear with raspberry sauce. The spa and yoga center menus are also updated with soothing treatments such as the Brown Sugar Scrub and Dead Sea Black Mud Wrap

Sabor Caribe Villas
Recently revamped with Balinese-craft furniture from Indonesia, one to two bedroom villas make up the Sabor Caribe 1 and 2 to be rented together or separately, located near many beaches, restaurants and nightlife

Myett’s, Cane Garden Bay
Te Sea Spa now offers the Relaxation Massage, rocking spa-goers back and forth to the sound of the sea and surf or from the convenience of in-room service
